In the south eastern county of Kent, just 46% of all students to pass through the educational system currently in place there (688 schools total, 448 state funded primary schools and 100 state secondary’s) end up attending University. Whilst 25% of the regions primary schools work beyond their means, a worrying 33% of secondary schools are consistently and admittedly over-stretched. Don't be affected by oversubscription in your area. If your child is struggling in maths, look no further than Maths Doctor who can provide quality tutors to help boost your child's grades.

Kent is known as the Garden of England, and it’s been nurturing talent and creativity for hundreds of years, Chaucer, Dickens and Turner are just a few people who drew inspiration from this county. Kent is known for more than its past achievements, in the 70’s when most Authorities adopted the comprehensive education system Kent remained with a selective education system based on the 11 plus exam. This exam separates students into grammar or secondary modern schools. Added to this extra pressure on students is the fact that in 2010 34% of all maintained secondary schools in Kent failed the minimum targets set by government. This means it’s more important than ever for your child to achieve a good grade and set themselves up for a good education, or get that extra help to make sure they’re not being denied the best chances in life.
