Why Maths Doctor

Education in Edgware

Yet another inner London region affected by a lack of appropriate facilities with which to educate it’s growing population of school-aged youngsters, Edgware is part of the Borough of Barnet. Served by a whole host of state schools and independents, residents of the area can expect to encounter rejection rates of around 30% when seeking out a place at their state secondary of choice.

Maths is important

Most sixth forms and colleges require a C grade in GCSE, and this is an essential if you plan on studying a subject like physics. It’s generally a requirement if you are to take Biology and Chemistry at A Level too since without it you will find the syllabus near impossible. If you feel you’re not that great at maths it’s a good idea to look for extra resources or even consider hiring a one to one tutor. Pre-exams get hold of some practice papers, and purchase a good revision guide. To get a C grade you need to achieve 35-40% on each paper so with a bit of revision this should be highly achievable. As well as being an essential requirement for going onto A Levels, employers will often ask that you have a grade C or above in English and maths. So all in all you need to make getting a good GCSE in mathematics your top priority.
