Why Maths Doctor

I wanted my daughter to have input from a newly graduated tutor who could inspire her about math rather than offer more of the same.

Education in Merseyside

The state operated schools of Merseyside do comparatively well when it comes to issues such as student over subscription and appeal rates. However, the percentage of students being successfully turned on to the prospect of University level education lets them down slightly.

In Knowsley for example, just 35% of tertiary level students end up at University, in St Helens however- its bang on 50%. Maths is a tougher subject than most and sometimes a little help may be needed to reach those goal objectives and push the statistics back in your child's favour.

The 14 bells in Liverpool Cathedral are the heaviest in the world. 13 bells weigh a total of 17 tonnes while Great George alone weighs 15 tonnes and is larger than Big Ben.

Beecham opened its first factory for the rapid production of medicine in St Helens in 1859.
