Maths Doctor at the Royal Institute

As I approached the Royal Institute and was greeted with the below view, I started to feel intimidated. Was it really true that I was going to be presenting here? I was going to have to present from the exact place where Michael Faraday introduced the world’s first electric motor back in 1822!

Thankfully my talk was well received by an audience that included leading educational thinkers from over 25 countries, including representatives of the House of Lords and the UK Joint Mathematical Council. It was a privilege to be able to introduce the work we have been doing at Sussex University with our innovative approach to filming school teachers in action.
